Keeping it in view the need for critiquing both the Government and State Information Commission for their abject failure in living up to the mandates of the RTI Act and for mobilizing the conscious segments of Orissa's civil society such as media persons, lawyers, legislators, policy analysts, NGOs and PRI leaders to play their role as pressure groups in the matter, Right To Food Campaign Orissa is going to organize the above named State Convention in which a detail stock-taking shall be made of the hitherto implementation of RTI Act in the State of Orissa and memoranda as deemed proper addressed to the appropriate authorities for remedying the dismal scenario.
