The Manipur Information Commission has issued show cause notice to the deputy commissioner Ukhrul district for not providing information sought by person returnable within seven days. The ruling of the Commission passed on July 31 against the DC Ukhrul related with the non-provision of information sought by People`s Action for Rights to Information, Manipur, Nagaram. The body sought lists of the beneficiaries and works programme of the MLA`s local area development funds for the year 2005-06 to 2006-07 in respect of Ukhrul district on December 8, 2006.
