GOACAN organised an awareness action at the KTC Bus Stand, Panjim to conclude its Right To Information Awareness Fortnight being observed from 12th to 25th October. The fortnight long awareness activities were organised on the occasion of the second anniversary of the enactment of the Right To Information Act 2005.Consumer Forum volunteers carrying placards with various messages on RTI distributed information slips to citizens calling for the use of RTI to curb the demand for bribes, to stop corruption and to avoid delays in getting their works done in Govt. Depts., Village Panchayats & Municipal Councils.
