The Central Executive Council of the Nagaland University Teachers' Association has taken a decision to suspend the Academic Closure and resume Academic activities in the three campuses of Kohima, Lumami and Medziphema with effect from Monday, the 14th April 2008.
This decision has been taken in view of the positive response of the Ministry of Human Resource Deve-lopment to the demands put forward by the NUTA. The CEC, NUTA has also filed for information under the Right to Information Act 2005, to the University Grants Commission and the Com-ptroller and Auditor General (CAG) on the 11th April 2008,seeking information on what action has been taken on the CAG Special Audit Report 2006 on Nagaland University.
